Colorado Child Care Assistance Program exists to help families that are homeless, working, searching for work or in school find low-income child care assistance.

The Larimer Child Care Fund helps low- and moderate-income families afford high quality care for their children at the licensed providers of their choice. The fund is structured to complement the Colorado Child Care Assistance Program (CCCAP), by providing scholarships to CCCAP-ineligible families. This includes families who cannot access CCCAP due to income, mixed immigration status, or other factors. Recipients of the fund will not have to pay more than 15% of their income on child care for an entire year. 

Beginning in the 2023-2024 school year, families in Colorado can receive at least 15 hours per week of free, voluntary preschool for 4 year olds through the Universal Preschool (UPK) Colorado program. 3 year olds with qualifying factors are eligible for 10 free hours per week. UPK Colorado is administered by the newly-created Colorado Department of Early Childhood (CDEC).

NOCO Kids Academy strives to make it as easy as possible for families to have quality preschool for their kiddos. Scholarships may be available for families who are ineligible for CCCAP or other subsidy programs but cannot fully afford private pay tuition. Send us an email today to learn more.
